Special General Meeting

Notice is hereby given that a Special General Meeting of the Sydney Mechanics’ School of Arts will be held in the Henry Carmichael Theatre, Level 1, 280 Pitt Street, Sydney on Wednesday 3 December 2025, commencing at 12.15pm.

Business of the Meeting

1. Opening and apologies

2. To consider and, if thought fit, to pass the following resolution as a special resolution:

That the Sydney Mechanics’ School of Arts adopt the By-Laws presented to the Special General Meeting on 3 December 2025 in substitution for the By-Laws previously adopted on 29 October 2019 on and with effect from the close of the Special General Meeting.

A copy of the By-Laws to be presented at the Special General Meeting is available upon request to the Chief Executive Officer by email on [email protected], collect in person in the Library or download from the website

1. Only members who are eligible to vote will be able to attend and participate in the Special General Meeting (SGM).
2. Registration to the SGM is compulsory.
