CLASS STRUCTURE GUIDELINES:
*LEVEL-1 WCS Monthly Progressive Series "Essentials Basics" (Intro to 6 beat basic structures, and techniques of WCS. Left side pass and under, right side pass and under, push, starter step) Plus, general concepts and techniques of partner dancing) (*no pre-requisite required, open to all levels)
NOTE: "New WCS" Level-1 Drop-ins can only enter class during weeks 1 & 2. Experienced Level 1 Dancers are welcome at any time. Level-1 WCS Progressive Series "Essential Basics" runs 3/3/2026 to 3/24/2026: (4 weeks this month. NOTE: There will "NO" L-1 Classes on 3/31/26)
*NEW SPECIAL FOR 1st Time "New Beginners" $40 monthly 4 week series available for purchase!
*LEVEL-2 WCS Weekly Drop-In classes "Beyond Basics" - 6 beat foundational movement variations, intro to 8 beat movement structures, next level Lead/Follow and connection technique for better dancing. (*Pre-requisite - Have developed and can execute everyday WCS Basic movements. i.e., Starter Step, Left Side Pass, Left Side Under, Right Side Pass to open/closed position, Right Side Under, and Push)
*LEVEL-3 WCS Weekly Drop-In classes "Diverse Expressions" - Next level movement, timing variations, and technique development (*Pre-requisite - Have developed and can execute everyday WCS Basic movements and variations. i.e., Starter Step, Left Side Pass, Left Side Under, Right Side Pass to open/closed position, Right Side Under, Push, and Standard Whip. Additionally, some incorporated basic variations of these movements, including basic rotational movement.
NOTE: These current guidelines are not" associated with or guided by the WSDC guidelines for competitive dancing and are subject to updates.
