Speaker Series - The Weaselhead/Glenmore Park Preservation Society

The Weaselhead/Glenmore Park Preservation Society is a non-profit organization started in 1994 by a group of local people dedicated to the protection of the Weaselhead Natural Environment Area and preservation of the integrity of the Elbow River. The Weaselhead Society is currently engaged in conservation education programs and stewardship activities including invasive plant programming, wildlife monitoring, steward walks, citizen science programs and more.
Join us February 19 to learn about The Weaselhead Society's work in preserving the Calgary City Park with the most diverse natural area, designated by The City as a Special Protection Natural Area.
About the presenter
Lisa Dahlseide is a conservation biologist, working on Treaty 7 land with the Weaselhead/Glenmore Park Preservation Society since 2003. Her passion is environmental education, and she strives to inspire a deeper connection between people and nature.
