Fred Haise is one of only 24 Apollo astronauts to reach the Moon and the last surviving Apollo 13 astronaut. He was meant to become the sixth person to walk on the Moon before the mission was aborted en route. Fred will be joining us for a special live virtual event, sharing his personal experience across 45 years of aerospace history that connects the past to the present, comparing modern fighters and the Artemis missions to the 60+ types of aircraft he flew and the Apollo missions he trained to fly, including the Apollo 13 lunar landing mission he flew in 1970.This event is for all ages and includes a live Q&A session with Fred Haise. General admission rates apply. This live, virtual presentation is only accessible to guests at the museum.
