About this Event
Speak Up At School is a free, interactive workshop for all ages to learn how to respond to everyday prejudice, bias, and stereotypes.
- Learn practical stragegies to respond to everyday prejudice, bias, and stereotypes
- Practice strategies in small groups so you feel equipped to speak up against bias and hate in everyday moments
- Open to all ages — children, young adults, and community members welcome
- Crafts, zines, and snacks provided
- Build new connections, show up for your community, and leave feeling empowered
- Leave with a common language — ready-to-use phrases aligned with what students hear in school, so the conversation continues at home
