Speak On It! High School Speech Competition

Join us at the Lukasa Library this February as an audience member to watch a high school speech competition responding to the question: Do Ottawa’s school systems best serve African and Afro-descendant students? Speakers will explore what is working and what changes are needed. The winning speaker will receive a $300 prize! Free entry and volunteer hours available for audience members. 🫵
