What if your high schooler could sit down with a San Diego nonprofit director, city council member, or business founder—and learn to ask great questions, think on their feet, and build real professional connections?
In Speak N Lead, students don't just practice public speaking in a vacuum. They interview three local leaders doing meaningful work in our community. Then they present what they learned to their peers and families. It's hands-on communication training that builds confidence AND expands their network before college.
"What Makes This Different: You're Not Just Practicing—You're Connecting"
Most public speaking programs have students give speeches to each other about random topics. Speak N Lead is different:
Students will:
-Research and prepare interview questions for three leaders
-Conduct live interviews and practice active listening
Learn professional communication and networking skills
-Present key insights to the group and invited guests
-Build connections that could lead to internships, mentorship, or college recommendations
-Receive Certificate
Limited to 8 students
8 week program on Wednesdays from January 21-March 11 from 6:15pm-7:15pm
