An Exhibition by multidisciplinary artists Faye’Ala MacFarlane & Victoria Harrington
The Shutter Room Gallery is hosting the exhibition Spawned 2024, by local Whangarei artists, Faye’Ala MacFarlane and Victoria Harrington. MacFarlane has worked intuitively backwards and subconsciously, inspired by her own artworks to construct new images in the expansive photographic genre. By contrast, Harrington has created works seeded by past photographs and reinterpreted them using a range of mediums. Collectively, the artists’ works manifest a fanciful approach to document the natural world and reality with an inclination to more experimental techniques.
Opening night is the 4th October from 5pm till 7pm at the Shutter Room Gallery, the old Library, 7 Rust Avenue, Whangarei. The exhibition runs till 26th October.
