Welcome to Sparks Fly Single Socials!
Ever wanted to go to trivia but couldn't get a table together or didn't want to go on your own? Well we have you covered! We have succesfully been running Singles Only Trivias across Gold Coast and Brisbane and are excited to be coming back to Milton Common on Friday 23rd Jan! Trivia is the perfect ice breaker and a great way to meet new friends or possibly that special someone, you never know what is going to happen with a room filled with singles! If your New Years resolution was to get out of your comfort zone, get more single and have more fun, we suggest securing your ticket now!
Arrive at 7pm to mix and mingle
Trivia starts at 7.30pm
How does it work?
When you arrive we will greet you at the door and introduce you to other guests, ensuring you feel comfortable and answering any questions. With time to mix and mingle prior to the event, before getting split into groups for Trivia. Tables are allocated based on age and gender, usually 2-3 men and 2-3 women to every table. We run 2 rounds of Trivia with 4 categories, General Knowledge, Sports, Pop Culture and a cheeky category about Singles/Relationships. We can assure you the Trivia questions are pretty easy, it’s more about fun, but we do love it when you get competitive.
We will have round 1 winners and at half time men will swap tables ready for round 2, giving you the chance to mix and mingle and meet even more people. Before our half time break we run an individual ice breaker game, like a paper airplane competition or social bingo, to get everyone mingling with the rest of the group. Who attends?
Anyone who is single!
You don’t need to be looking for love, this isn’t a speed dating event where you’ll get interrogated. It’s just about being social and being open to meeting new people. Maybe it’s a new friend, maybe it’s your new motorbike riding group (this has happened!), maybe it’s a work connection, or maybe it’s someone to date (you never know who you're going to meet)! We have no age restrictions to our events, except 18+. Attendees have ranged from early 20’s - early 60’s! The majority of guests are between 30-55.
