Spanish for Beginners - West Suffolk College Part 1

This 10 week course is term time only, Wednesday, 7 pm - 8.30 pm.

This course is designed for beginners who have no previous knowledge of Spanish or those who would like to refresh their skills.

Course Content:

The aim is to learn the basics of everyday communication by focusing on developing core skills such as reading, listening and writing. Topics for this course will include learning about personal information and introducing others, food and drink, directions, shopping and transport, as well as cultural events taking place throughout the year.

The lessons will provide a variety of activities to suit different styles, always in a dynamic and friendly environment, aiming to give students plenty of opportunities to practise the required skills to communicate in Spanish.

Please note this is a progressive course taught over three terms, those wishing to learn further will need to enrol in the spring and summer term classes - enrolment can be completed closer to the start dates for each term.

What do I need to bring:

Pen and notebook. The tutor will recommend a chosen course book that you may purchase as a study aid.

Our language courses begin with Part 1 in the autumn term (September) and you will progress throughout the year ( Part 2 Spring & Part 3 Summer) each term is 10 weeks.

Learners will need to enrol for each term and this can be done nearer the start date.

Our language classes are offered at different levels so if you'd like to join one but don't know which level to join, please contact us and we'll get one of our tutors to contact you

Learners would need some knowledge of the language to start this course in the spring or summer term.

Please note we run all our courses based on a minimum number of participants.

Any session that a student is unable to make is non-refundable unless the college cancels a class for any reason, and you cannot make the rearranged date/s.
