Moving Matter is an Austin-based jam band, notorious for their graceful improvisation. Having played together for 20 years, the band weaves in and out of musical conversations effortlessly. Moving Matter has shared the stage with such artists as Little Feat, STS9, The Disco Biscuits, Derek Trucks, Victor Wooten, Thievery Corporation & The Roots. They have rocked the hallowed stages of Antone’s & Stubb’s in Austin, The Fox and Boulder Theater in Colorado, and the Granada Theater in Dallas. They’ve toured the country and played festivals such as Wakarusa and Camp Bisco. They continue to push the musical boundary of jamming.
