Explosive Ukrainian metalcore force SPACE OF VARIATIONS returns with Poisoned Art, out on February 13, 2026 via Napalm Records. Blending furious brutality with heartfelt emotion, the four piece band sheds their skin and continues to push the boundaries of modern metal, their new record showing a new facet of their ever-evolving sound—a new era. Twice crowned Ukraine’s best metal band in their home country’s BUMA Awards, and former tour partners of genre giants Jinjer, SPACE OF VARIATIONS are raising the bar for metalcore with the twelve new tracks of Poisoned Art.
Another Approach
We are Another Approach, a progressive metal band based in Winterthur, Switzerland. Our music is defined by reconciled opposites: quiet instrumental parts lead into hard hitting breakdowns, slow and intimate vocal passages give way to fast-paced, screeching guitar-solos and atmospheric synthesizer sounds set up catchy melodies. The sound lives from the contrasts produced by juxtaposing these devices as well as the tension created by the struggle to keep them from falling apart. Our style knows few boundaries, often drawing from different genres such as Jazz and Blues. This allows for differentiated, colourful and at times humorous storytelling that is not only manifested in the lyrics of our songs, but also in their structure. Join us on our musical rollercoaster ride, which will hopefully open our eyes for endless new possibilities!
