About this Event
The Space Law and Policy Project Group is set for its End-of-Cycle event where we review achievements, recognize leadership efforts, and establish a clear direction for the coming year.
Over the past year, our group has made significant strides. From research on emerging space governance frameworks to policy briefs on orbital debris mitigation, we have had a productive cycle. Each project team will present their major accomplishments, these presentations reflect the hard work and commitment of our members to advancing space law and policy.
The New Leadership team is structured into core roles to optimize group organization and member engagement. This change includes designated leads for each core function: Research, Professional Development, Membership, Communications, and Events. This will streamline our processes and enhance coordination. Each member contributes expertise, ensuring the teamโs initiatives align with evolving global space law needs and policy development.
Looking Forward: 2024/2025 Cycle
In the upcoming cycle, we have ambitious plans to deepen our research, expand professional development opportunities, and foster stronger member engagement. The team will also enhance its collaboration with international bodies to contribute to space law frameworks and propose regulatory measures for sustainable space exploration. Outreach initiatives, including partnerships with educational institutions and thought leaders, will be prioritized to broaden the projectโs impact and foster global engagement.
This event will mark a productive cycle, celebrate past accomplishments, and reinforce the group's commitment to shaping a responsible and inclusive future for space law and policy.
