DNDA's FREE Halloween Costume Workshop is for creatives (and casuals) just like you!
Join DNDA’s Artplus team at Youngstown Cultural Arts Center October 29th for a FREE, all-ages workshop where creativity meets community. If you’re looking for something quick and simple, join one of 2 demos by our Teaching Artists to learn how to craft alien-inspired costumes from recycled materials. If you’re a bit further along, take advantage of our space and various art materials to make your final touches.
Beyond troubleshooting costume challenges with others or finally getting to use that hot glue gun you needed, SPACE-2-CRAFT will also connect you with the amazing opportunities Youngstown and DNDA have to offer. Come see our space, learn about our free art and nature programs, network with local artists, and get more familiar with how DNDA’s mission sparks artistic passion across West Seattle and beyond.

Want to support our work as a nonprofit? We’ll be screen-printing event-exclusive designs live for you to take home! Blank t-shirts are available for $30; but bring your own shirt, tote bag, fabric, or anything printable/upcycled, and get it done for only $15. All proceeds will help fund DNDA’s programs, workshops, and events in the community.
