Dear Street Poets Community, we are excited to announce our FIRST OPEN MIC OF 2026! Friday, Feb 6th at Reparations Club: SP Presents: Love Liberates - a poetry open mic featuring Asia Bryant-Wilkerson

ASIA BRYANT-WILKERSON is a poet and performance artist from Los Angeles, CA. She holds a B.A. in Communication Studies from the University of San Francisco, and an MFA in Performance + Performance Studies from Pratt in Brooklyn, NY. She has toured the U.S. performing and facilitating writing workshops at various colleges & universities such as Emerson college, UC Berkeley, Barnard College, and Agnes Scott College. Asia’s performance will be followed by a quick Q&A. Lastly, in our evening, we will invite community to share their poems, songs, and stories during the open micavailable to all! Open mic participants are invited to bring pieces that fit this month’s theme, “Love Liberates,” but are not required.
