Free indoor textiles activity. Join us for a demonstration and a talk on natural fibres and traditional weaving techniques.About this Event
This is the final stage of our annual project which involves using up leftover linen yarn and other fibres from previous harvests.
This activity is suitable for all abilities. We welcome anyone that would like to learn about the traditional methods of linen threads application.
There will be an opportunity to try different looms and learn various weaving and spinning techniques.
Further free workshops relating to flax processing and linen yarn application in textile art will take place in the the winter and spring season. Details will be posted on our website www.ariadnesthreadgroup.org
