Our Youth Enrichment program will expose youth in the South Fulton, College Park, East Point, Clayton County, and neighboring areas in a variety of tech courses. Each month will focus on a variety of tech courses that consist of Game Design, Computer Programming, Cybersecurity, Engineering, AI, Robotics, Math, and other STEM related subjects. Students will have the opportunity to build and design functional hardware and software. Each month, we will offer 2-3 classes that will meet once a week.
What to bring:
- Pencil, pen, writing utensil
- Laptop or chromebook
Here are the following lessons we will cover each month:
January: Intro to AI
- What is Artificial Intelligence? Ethics of Artificial Intelligence.
- Digital Design
- Using Artificial Intelligence to enhance art and design
February: 3D Engineering and Design
- Engineering and the Engineering Design Process
- Building Simple Machines and Engineering Models
- 3D Engineering and Bridge Design
March: Intro to Game Design
- Game Design fundamentals
- Storyboarding in Game Design
- Game Design Graphics and Animation
April: Cybersecurity & Internet Safety
- Teach youth the fundamentals of Coding and Ethical Hacking principles.
- Educate youth on protecting themselves online and avoiding cyberscams.
- Hands-on exercises that provide effective Internet Safety strategies for school and home.
