The Wild & Scenic Film Festival is coming to Danville! This year’s festival at Averett University in Blount Chapel features seven wonderful short films about our amazing planet and the living things that inhabit it. Whether it’s a comical tale of a couple’s 69-day expedition to Baffin Island in northern Canada, the courageous story of a young inner-city woman who earns a scholarship to raft the Green River in Colorado, or a look at saving the Four C Ranch in Wyoming, the festival will inspire audiences to learn what they can do both to save and explore the natural wonders in their own communities.
