About this Event
The Southern Pink Underwing Moth (Phyllodes imperialis smithersi) is a rare and threatened species found in subtropical regions of Australia. Its survival depends on the presence of its host plant, the Carronia Vine (Carronia multisepalea), which provides essential food and habitat for the moth’s larvae. Carronia Vine is an important native climbing plant, and conservation efforts include W**d control, planting of Carronia, and monitoring its distribution to support the moth’s recovery.
This workshop aims to raise awareness, provide hands-on experience, and involve the community in protecting this unique species and its habitat. Below is a guide to the day’s schedule, including key sessions and speakers.

Parking at the venue is limited, so please carpool where possible. Additional overflow parking is available, with details provided in the confirmation email sent prior to the workshop. A shuttle service will operate to transport attendees between the overflow carpark and the venue.
