Spring has sprung and that means it's show time!The Southern Belle Showdown is back and gearing up for a great weekend!
On Friday, May 15th we'll have our youth day!
Free Showmanship Clinic for youth!
Showmanship Classes (4 age groups: Pee Wee, Junior, Intermediate, and Senior)
2 Ring Youth Show with Combined Junior/Senior Does and separately sanctioned Junior Does judged by Kris Fraley from Texas and Sarah Correll from Indiana.
We are also pleased to present a Scorecard Clinic on Friday from 12 PM-4 PM. There will be some classroom time learning about the ADGA scorecard followed by some hands on time where you get to put into practice what you've learned and practice your "eye".
On Saturday, May 16th we will have a 3 ring open show with Combined Junior/Senior Does and separately sanctioned Junior Does judged by Kris Fraley from Texas, Sarah Correll from Indiana, and Tyler Rameriez from New York.
We'll have a Costume Class that is free to enter and will have a prize awarded to the best costume.
We are also hosting a Junior Jackpot class in the afternoon. This class is a fun class open to all breeds and ages of junior does (never freshened). The judges will collaborate to select one winner who will win half of the total entry fees collected from the Jackpot class.
To help us with our fundraising efforts to host these shows and events we will have a silent auction table and welcome donations for the table, goat related or not. The person who donates the highest selling auction item will receive a prize.
Entries will be through the Showman App and will be accepted until Midnight on Thursday, May 14th.
