A wonderful trip in early Autumn to South Wales and the Brecon Beacons for two stunning hikes. On Saturday 4th October we will meet at 1pm at the Llanwenarth car park, near Abergavenny (NP7 7LA) for a fantastic hike up Sugar Loaf mountain (approx. 3.5hrs in total). We then stay at the Premier Inn hotel in Ebbw Vale and on the Sunday we do a longer hike (approx. 5.5hrs total) which includes Fan y Big mountain, parts of the Beacons Way and Cambrian Way plus Pentwyn and Pontsticill Reservoirs with stunning views everywhere, mixed terrain and beautiful forests.
