Join us as we kick off the 2026 volunteer season on the South Shore. đź’™Our Volunteer Kickoff is a free, open house-style event designed to welcome both new and returning volunteers into the Keep Tahoe Blue community and share the many ways you can get involved this year.
Over the past year, our volunteer program has expanded well beyond our signature cleanups and Tahoe Blue Crew program. Today, volunteers support Lake-saving work in many meaningful ways, including citizen science, advocacy, youth education, visitor outreach, and office or retail support.
At this event, you’ll have the chance to:
• Learn about the many volunteer roles available
• Meet the Keep Tahoe Blue team
• Sign up for upcoming volunteer opportunities
• Complete waivers and get connected to our volunteer system
• Enter a raffle for Keep Tahoe Blue prizes
• Enjoy refreshments, including pizza and sodas

Registration is required.
When you sign up, please select your preferred location and one-hour time slot, share any dietary restrictions, and include the names of anyone attending with you.
Parking:
Parking is available across the street at Tahoe Center. If possible, please consider carpooling, biking, or taking public transit.
We’ll have food, drinks, and some fun giveaways. Come meet fellow Tahoe lovers and find the volunteer opportunity that’s right for you.
