Let's explore the South Platte ecosystem! Perfect for birders and not-yet-birders of all ages. Birds! Community! Food!About this Event
This month: South Platte Birding Club is BRAND NEW and March is our first outing! We will be birding at a leisurely pace at City of Cuernavaca Park. Coffee, tea, juice, muffins, and fruit (and good company!) will be provided.
More about SPBC: South Platte Birding Club creates community and celebrates the ecosystem of the South Platte River. We meet monthly, choosing a unique birding location along the river each time. Each outing begins with snacks, conversation, and a brief presentation about an aspect of the river. Outings vary from traditional bird walks to stationary birding, depending on the interest and needs of participants. Binoculars, spotting scopes, and field guides are provided.
This club is meant for birders of all levels; Bird Conservancy will provide mentorship to new birders but also encourage the sharing of knowledge among all participants.
