About this Event
This month: We will be birding at a leisurely pace along the Riverfront Open Space at CSU Spur Campus. Breakfast-y beverages and snacks (and good company!) will be provided. There is also a small cafe on-site.
More about SPBC: South Platte Birding Club creates community and celebrates the ecosystem of the South Platte River. We meet monthly, choosing a unique birding location along the river each time. Each outing begins with snacks, conversation, and a brief presentation about an aspect of the river. Outings vary from traditional bird walks to stationary birding, depending on the interest and needs of participants. Binoculars, spotting scopes, and field guides are provided.
This club is meant for birders of all levels; Bird Conservancy will provide mentorship to new birders but also encourage the sharing of knowledge among all participants.
