Our Hyères Retreat is a gentle reset. An invitation to slow down, breathe deeply, and return to yourself through embodied practices, Mediterranean light, and the quiet pleasure of simply being.
Joie de vivre is the art of savoring life. A deep embodied joy in being alive. Over these days together we explore this through yoga, ritual, nature, long meals, and spacious time to simply exist.
One of the highlights of the retreat is a pilgrimage walk to the sacred grotto of Sainte-Baume, traditionally linked to Mary Magdalene. A steady forest hike through ancient woodland leading to the cave where she is believed to have lived in devotion and solitude. Inside the quiet stone grotto we gather in stillness, honoring the sacred feminine path.
This retreat balances guided practices with spacious time to rest, swim, wander, journal, and enjoy the simple beauty of the Côte d’Azur.
The Location
Our retreat takes place in a newly built seaside villa on the Presqu’île de Giens in Hyères, just 180 metres from the sea.
The house is light-filled and quietly luxurious, designed in natural tones that mirror the land and sea around it. Sea-facing terraces, a pool under open sky, and a grounding sauna create space to soften and fully exhale.
The Giens peninsula is surrounded by turquoise waters, coastal paths, and the charm of the old Provençal town of Hyères with its markets, cafés, and boats to the island of Porquerolles.
A place where mountain and sea meet, and where life naturally slows down.
What We Will Explore
Pleasure in Practice
Daily yoga, meditation, and embodied practices balanced with intuitive flow, rest, swims, and slow shared meals.
Magdalene Pilgrimage
A sacred day walking through the forest of Sainte-Baume to the cave of Mary Magdalene, where we gather in stillness and reflection.
Joie de Vivre
Sea swims, wine among the vines, sun on the terrace, deep conversations, and the simple pleasure of being alive.
