Join Us for an Informative Business Event in South Liverpool
Liverpool City Council is pleased to invite you to a business gathering taking place at Crowne Plaza, Speke in South Liverpool. This event promises to be an engaging forum where you will hear more on the emerging Inclusive Economic Growth Strategy for the City, updates on skills and employment, and see first-hand the digital innovation solutions you can embed in your business through a unique digital lab demonstrator. There will also be a marketplace to explore with, a variety of organisations providing fully funded business support solutions that can make a real difference to your business.
The event is a fantastic opportunity to meet and connect with businesses in the community and an opportunity to share views, learning and insights with peers.

• Emerging Inclusive Economic Growth Strategy update – Kate Bull, Liverpool City Council
• Preparing students for the world of work and the jobs of tomorrow – Dan Howard, Liverpool UTC and Studio School
• LJMU Horizons, a flagship innovation support programme - Stephen Mosley, LJMU
• Business digitisation demonstrator lab – Liverpool John Moores University will be running demonstrations throughout the event at their mobile digital demonstration unit.

Business Support Marketplace: Explore a variety of business support services and resources available to help your business thrive.
The event, taking place from 10-2pm on the Thursday 21st November, will include tea, coffee and pastries.

This Cluster Engagement event is available to anyone who has a newly established business or established business. You must be based in the Liverpool area. Once you have registered your place, we will be in touch to confirm your time slot and eligibility to attend. Please note this session is for businesses based in Liverpool only. We reserve the right to cancel tickets for those not based in the Liverpool local authority area. Confirmation of your place on the session will be provided as soon as possible after you register and we will share any joining instructions with all those eligible nearer the day of the session via an email from our Business Support Service account with Eventbrite.
This session is delivered through the Business Support Service at Liverpool City Council which provides fully-funded support to existing businesses based in Liverpool and also to Liverpool residents looking to start-up a new business. This session is hosted by Liverpool Chamber of Commerce who are Liverpool City Council’s contracted business support partner for this service. The Business Support Service project is funded by the UK Government through the UK Shared Prosperity Fund with the Liverpool City Region Combined Authority as the lead authority.
