Planning to park on Wilson Street and meet up on the grass somewhere between the road and the sandpit.The old golf course in Lawson has been transformed into a park containing a fully fenced dog off-leash area. Running outside the fence is a sealed footpath, perfect for a good pram walk. There's a sandpit and playground on the north side with a bubbler. Toilets are still being constructed - maybe they'll be ready by April.
The path makes a figure eight, giving you the option of a short walk or a longer walk.
The path does pass a gate leading into the more famous Lawson Waterfall Circuit, though that part wouldn't be suitable for prams. It's a short walk to the creek at the top of the waterfall if you have little ones who would like to splash.
