South Lansing Farmers Market is hosting two more winter markets, with 75+ local farm, food, and art/craft vendors, on the last Saturdays of February (28) and March (28). Vendors will be in the main entry hall, center court, and an interior storefront within the Lansing Mall. The space is handicap accessible, has plenty of parking, and is close to several CATA bus stops.Vendors will have all sorts fresh and artisan foods, including beef, lamb, pork, chicken, rabbit, eggs, apples, apple cider, fruit preserves, pickled veggies, sauces and condiments, soup/dip mix, spices/seasonings, flour and baking mixes, local wildflower honey, fresh ground nut butters, trail mix, elderberry syrup, sea moss smoothies, fresh roasted coffee beans, cinnamon roasted nuts, gourmet popcorn, fruit infused herbal teas, freeze dried foods, sourdough, yeast breads, marshmallow treats, and soooo many desserts.
Shoppers will delight in the wide selection of handcrafted of home decor, potted houseplants, landscape prints, original artwork, jewelry, pottery, wood and metalwork, leather items, fused glass pieces, charcuterie boards, sewn/knit/crochet items, tie dye clothing, natural cleaning products, candles, herbal household/body products, plushies, dolls, games, pet treats, We have vendors offering reiki healing, tarot readings, and henna art (Mehndi).
There's something for everyone, in every price range.
Raffles are popular because all prizes donated by vendors and winners get to choose what they go home with!
Come hungry, because our international food vendors have delicious Mexican, Chinese, Lebanese, and Polish options (dinners and a la carte) for dine in and carry-out. Vendors also have fresh spun cotton candy, Hawaiian shave ice bowls, fresh brewed and iced coffees, homemade fudge, chocolate dipped strawberries, and more... YUM!
NOTE to vendors: Winter markets are juried by a selection committee to ensure we offer quality products that match shopper interest AND limit saturation in any category. As spaces fill, we give preference to vendors selling items not already represented. These events are not open to direct sale, wholesale, or resale vendors.
