𝗝𝗼𝗶𝗻 𝘂𝘀 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝗮 𝗽𝗿𝗮𝗰𝘁𝗶𝗰𝗲 𝗵𝗶𝗸𝗲 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝗗𝗮𝘆 𝟮 𝗼𝗳 𝗼𝘂𝗿 𝗪𝗼𝗿𝗸𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗣𝗮𝗰𝗸𝗱𝗼𝗴 𝗧𝗿𝗶𝗮𝗹! 🐕We will be hiking through the Cascade / South Hobart tracks, and following the track we will be hiking on Day 2 of our trial (which is on Sun, March 29th).
🗓️ 𝗗𝗔𝗧𝗘: Sunday, March 22nd
⏰ 𝗧𝗜𝗠𝗘: Walk starts at 8am sharp, please arrive 15 minutes early to fit your pack, say hello and get organised.
📍𝗟𝗢𝗖𝗔𝗧𝗜𝗢𝗡: Cascade Gardens, South Hobart. We are meeting at McRobie's Road, South Hobart.
⛰️ 𝗧𝗛𝗘 𝗛𝗜𝗞𝗘: This is a 16km hike. It has varying terrain, and some areas have moderate elevation. Beginner friendly even if it is a bit hilly at times!
🥾 𝗪𝗛𝗔𝗧 𝗧𝗢 𝗕𝗥𝗜𝗡𝗚: PLEASE BRING PLENTY OF WATER. It is recommended to bring at least 2 litres for yourself, and plenty for your dog. We suggest bringing as much water as you can. Bring your dog, a pack if your dog has one, a backpack for yoursel, food for yourself and your dog (we will have food stops), a hat, sunscreen and sun protection. Good walking shoes, layers you can rug up or take off as weather dictates. We will have a first aid kit.
𝗖𝗢𝗦𝗧: We are kindly accepting $5 donations per handler, per walk. This donation goes to our club (CPAT) and is used for running our upcoming trial.
All teams welcome, whether you're interested in joining our March trial or not. If you're a beginner without a pack, still please come along!
