There are many amateur craft groups in the Ulverston area where people of all ages meet and create wonderful items for themselves, friends and family or for charity. They are also an opportunity to socialise, meet old friends and make new ones.
South Cumbria Makes is an event to be held at the Coro in Ulverston on 12th March 2026 from 10am to 3pm. The idea is to display items from some of the local amateur craft groups and to provide details of where and when they meet. It is not a craft sale but there will be representation from local businesses to show what craft items they offer on their premises.
