About this Event

South Carolina 4-H Legislative Day is an engaging event designed for 4-H members, volunteers, and supporters to connect with state legislators and advocate for the 4-H program. Scheduled for March 11, 2025, at the South Carolina State House in Columbia, this event offers participants a platform to share their personal experiences and the positive impact of 4-H programming in their communities. This event not only fosters leadership skills among youth but also emphasizes the importance of civic involvement in shaping community programs.

During 4-H Legislative Day, attendees will have the opportunity to meet with their local representatives, discuss the benefits of the 4-H program, and learn about civic engagement.

The day's activities will include a brief ceremony on the North Steps at 11:00 AM (please be in place by 10:45 AM) and observing legislative processes in action.

Youth and Adults (volunteers, parents, chaperones, etc.) should register by March 7th.
