Earth Month 2025!Join in the worldwide celebration of Earth Month!
This year's theme is Our Power, Our Planet
Vendors from a variety of renewable and clean energy sources, along with vendors advocating for sustainable practices at work, in schools, places of worship, and individuals doing their part to protect the planet will be on display.
Doors open at 10:am - plenty of parking lot spaces.
10:20 Renewable and clean energy/sustainability Panel Discussion
11:30 Concord and Penn High School Debate Teams - Debating the pros and cons of establishing a mandate for the use of renewable and clean energy to replace fossil fuels in all sectors by 2050.
1:15 Potawatomi Zoo - Caring for animals in a changing climate w/live animals on site.
2:15 College and Career Opportunities in sustainability fields - private and public sector representatives.
Door prizes given away hourly. Bikes, helmets, LED lighting, low flow shower heads and much more.
Puerto Vallarta Food Truck 10:30-1:00. Limited number of $5.00 off entree and a drink will be handed out at the event. Regular price $13.00 per plate with drink.
FREE secondhand clothing rack with sizes ranging from XS-XXL! Bags will be provided.
Special gifts (TBA) for everyone who bikes to and from the event.
South Bend Bike Garage bike maintenance and repair throughout the event.
Kid’s Corner with interactive games and take home materials for future learning about energy and sustainability.
ADA accessibility- multimedia display running throughout the event.
Activities for all ages. Solar oven display, solar powered generator demonstration, scavenger hunt and trivia contest.
