-A fundamentals-based Bachata class focusing on footwork, partner work, timing, rhythm, and connection.
✔ Great for beginners
✔ Ideal for intermediate/advanced dancers refining technique

KO Open Floor Practica | Bachata
-An open practice space for all Bachata dancers to train, explore, and connect.
No formal instruction — just music, space, and community.
PERFECT FOR:
• Foundations students practicing after class
• Improv students warming up before class

-This class focuses on musicality, creativity, freestyle confidence, and improvisation, helping prepare dancers for advanced Bachata training.

❓ ASSESMENT | FAQ
What are we looking for?
• Solid understanding of Bachata fundamentals (timing, rhythm, connection, basic musicality)
• Enjoyment and familiarity with Bachata music
• Ability to demonstrate skills clearly in a short dance
Assessment Details:
• Led by Director Ngoc Huynh
• 5–15 minutes total
• Students will dance part of a Bachata song for ~15–60 seconds
❗ If a student is not ready for Improv, we will recommend Bachata Foundations (Wednesdays) & Bachata Choreo (Thursdays at 7PM) to strengthen fundamentals first.
