South Atlanta High School would be honored to have you participate as a judge in our Annual Fall Academic Fair on Wednesday, December 3, 2025, from 9:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. This fair will showcase student work from our Science Fair, Social Studies Fair, Fall STEAM Project-Based Learning Experiences, and Technology Fair qualifiers.
This year, our projects center on compelling grade-level themes: Inequality (9th Grade), Systems (10th Grade), Power (11th Grade), and Influence (12th Grade). We are seeking community members, professionals, and educators to see how students tackled real-world community problems in each of these areas and to serve as judges for their projects. Your expertise and engagement will provide meaningful feedback and inspiration for our students as they showcase their creativity, research, and problem-solving skills through STEAM-focused investigations.
Event Schedule:
- Student Project Gallery (9:30 AM - 11:00 AM): Attendees will have the opportunity to speak with students about their projects and provide scoring and feedback. Judges typically review 8-12 projects during this session.
- Special Presentations (11:00 AM - 11:30 AM): Select students will present to the full audience, followed by questions and feedback from a panel of judges.
This is an exciting opportunity to connect with our students, celebrate their hard work, and support the development of future innovators and leaders.
