Come learn the art of sourdough from the heart of Adams Acres Farm! Teresa has been teaching this popular class for over eight years, and brings deep knowledge, plenty of encouragement, and a whole lot of fun. You'll learn how to create and care for your own sourdough starter, understand the science behind long fermentation, and leave with a full set of instructions and recipes- including Teresa's tried-and-true method developed over years of baking. Best of all, you'll get to bring home a 150-year-old San Francisco sourdough starter to hand down to the next generation!
In this class, you will take home all recipes, full instructions, and sourdough starter are tips to support your baking journey.
This class is hands-on, interactive, and great for beginners or anyone looking to improve their sourdough game. You'll leave with the confidence to bake nourishing, delicious loaves right in your own kitchen.
What to Bring:
1 Quart Jar with Lid
1 Medium/Large Bowl with Lid
700g All-Purpose Flour (or small bag)
Digital Kitchen Scale (must measure in grams)
Stirring Spoon
Small spatula that fits in jar
Pen and Paper
