About this Event
Take your sourdough skills to the next level in Part 2 of our Sourdough 101 Series! This hands-on class is designed for those who’ve already begun their sourdough journey and are ready to bake their first loaf. Or, if you’re new to sourdough and simply want to learn how to make sourdough bread, you’re welcome to join us too!
In this class, you'll be making two flavorful loaves: a walnut cranberry sourdough and an herbed sourdough focaccia. Bring your starter for comparison and discussion as we explore the nuances of sourdough baking. Don’t have one yet? No problem—our instructor will have a starter on hand for you to use. We’ll guide you through the stretch-and-fold method, recipe tweaks, and techniques to ensure your dough develops structure and flavor. You'll also prepare your dough to take home, ferment overnight, and bake the next day.To help you track your progress, you’ll receive a custom bread log to record recipes and results.
As a bonus, enjoy sourdough rolls and crackers served with cheese and hummus as a preview of the delicious creations featured in our third and final class of this series. Find more details about our third class .
