ABOUT YOUR TEACHER:
HI! I'm Angie. I've been a Registered Dietitian since 2012 and currently work as a High School Culinary Teacher. My sourdough journey began in 2020 when I created my starter, Jane Dough, in my home kitchen. Over the past 6 years I've grown my own practice and it's my goal to bring my knowledge straight to you! As a Dietitian I know the fermented flour in sourdough contains prebiotics and has probiotic-like properties that support the gut microbiome. As a creative I love the process and how it forces me to slow down, trust the process and build community. I can't wait for you to join me and learn this lifelong skill that can be passed on for generations to come.
