Become a citizen scientist for the day and join us for a Source to Sea Litter Pick to learn about the impact of litter on our seas and how we can all prevent it from reaching the coast - no matter where we live.

Open to all - all equipment provided. Please note that the route follows the Leeds Liverpool canal path. Children must be supervised. This is a wheelchair accessible route.

World Ocean Week 2026
This year, the Marine Conservation Society are celebrating World Ocean Day (8th June) for a whole week!
With the UK’s Deposit Return Scheme (DRS) launching in 2027, we’ll be focusing on drinks-related pollution throughout the week to shine a spotlight on collective action and prove why DRS is so necessary.
