Join us at Hoole Community Centre after our Green Festival for a hands-on afternoon of community and surplus vegetables!We’re inviting our community to come together to chop vegetables, cook a big pot of delicious soup, enjoy a couple of rounds of 'musical bingo' while it simmers, and then sit down to eat and connect as a community.
This is a relaxed, welcoming, drop-in style session where everyone joins in - from prepping the veg to cleaning up together at the end! Our Café Manager, Sam, will be leading the session alongside some of our superstar volunteers to ensure everything runs smoothly and safely.
PLEASE NOTE that this is a FREE community event.
To help us manage numbers and reduce no-shows, we ask for a small ticket holding fee, which will be fully refunded when you attend the event.
We do this to make sure places go to people who genuinely plan to join us - as free events can often book up quickly, and we want to avoid empty seats or wasted food.
