We are excited to announce the first installment of our new monthly event, Sounds With Substance, on March 27th at the newly remodeled Lounge at the Historic Ashland Armory. This event will feature top-shelf electronic music from the entire spectrum of electronic music genres! Dubs, Breaks, House, UK Garage, Dancehall, Drum and Bass, Foot Work, Grime, Techno, all carefully curated with an ear towards dance floor grooves, sophisticated sound design, good vibes, and tunes that evoke emotion and take the listener on a journey. This event will have the feel of the old school underground raves that made the SWS team fall in love with electronic music. Dark room, big sound, minimal intentional stage design that will keep the attention where it belongs, on the music! For this first installment, we have invited our good friend Hyku to air his sounds, joined by N.O.X and DJ Samuel Lawrence to round out the lineup! Turbo Sound will be provided by Lawd Sound!
