The Wauwatosa Community Band presents its holiday concert on Tuesday, December 9th, 7:30pm, at the Lois Weber Auditorium of Longfellow Middle School on 76th and North Avenue. Titled “Sounds of the Season,” this concert will include arrangements of beloved Christmas carols, a medley of Irving Berlin holiday music, two sets of variations on Dona Nobis Pacem and In Dulci Jubilo, and a lightning-fast, hilarious mash-up of The Dreidel Song and Hava Nagila. Also featured on the concert is Normal Dello Joio’s “Scenes from the Louvre."The 70-piece band is directed by Donna Kummer, with announcer Gladys Chmiel. Tickets are $5 for adults and $3 for students & seniors.
