It is time once again for one of Yukon's favorite traditions! This year's "Sounds of the Season" holiday concert is presented by Dr. Zachary Daniels and the Oklahoma Metropolitan Orchestra. We are excited about this year's show that Dr. Daniels has lovingly prepared just for Yukon that is sure to put you in the holiday mood!

Dr. Daniels' Sneak Peak
This year the Oklahoma Metropolitan Orchestra will present a variety of Holiday Favorites, Christmas Classics, and Oklahoma Traditions at Yukon’s Sounds of the Season 2024. Selections include traditional Christmas Carols, Leroy Anderson’s Sleigh Ride, and other Christmas favorites. We will feature local singers Nicole Van Every and Courtney Crouse in the classics “I’m Dreaming of a White Christmas” and “Have Yourself a Merry Little Christmas.” Oklahoma Christmas traditions run deep, and among these is Central Oklahoma Ballet’s annual production of The Nutcracker. To celebrate this, we will be featuring selections from this annual Yukon tradition as part of our festivities this year. The audience will, of course, be invited to partake in the holiday cheer as we sing medleys of traditional Christmas Carols. Joy to The World, Silent Night, and other favorites will be part of these audience sing-alongs. Of course, the Christmas season is well-known for its mark on Cinema. We will feature several selections of cinematic holiday music from favorites such as Polar Express, Home Alone, and How the Grinch Stole Christmas as part of our Christmas at the Movies suite. Every year deserves to be just a bit more special than the last. As such, new selections for this 2024’s Sounds of the Season include pieces by the Trans-Siberian Orchestra, including Mas Russian’s Christmas and Christmas Eve Sarajevo. We will, of course, bring out our own Rock Band to do this right.

All Tickets Will Go On Sale Starting November 25th!
General admission tickets will be $5 and will be available at the Yukon Community Center, 2200 S Holly; Jackie Cooper Gym, 1024 E. Main; the Dale Robertson Center, 1200 Lakeshore Drive; as well as all YNB locations. Cash or checks (made out to the City of Yukon) are accepted. General admission tickets will also be available to purchase online.
Reserved seating tickets will be $10 and only available at the Dale Robertson Center starting November 25 at 8:00am. Due to the popularity of the reserved tickets, they are limited to 6 per person. Get yours while they last!
