Roger Casement's campaigns have been a source of inspiration to artists around the world..As a result of a residency with the Dún Laoghaire-Rathdown Arts
Office and Music Network in 2022, the Peruvian Jazz guitarist, Rodrigo Almonte, composed 'Sounds of the Blue Book', a musical tribute to Casement's Blue Book report about what indigenous people in Putumayo were experiencing in 1910.
As part of his Irish tour he will perform at the Unitarian Church, Stephens Green this coming Friday (October 3rd). Jazz and/or Casement fans may be interested.
