Join The Writers Workshop and Sheffield Authors for a special edition Sounds About Write celebrating writing from Steel City.

We're pleased to welcome a wide array of published authors to tell us about their writing journeys, as well as sharing the ups and downs of self-publishing and more. Plus, we'll have an open mic where you can share your work-in-progress or finished words!

To secure an open-mic slot, get an 'Open Mic' ticket (you might have to scroll down on the ticket page). If the Open Mic tickets have sold out, email [email protected] to be added to the reserve list (in case we have no-shows or more time on the night). Slots are 3 minutes each.

This edition of Sounds About Write is FREE to attend! But donations are always welcome: all proceeds will support our work to improve access to our programme and celebrate our city's writing talent.
