We gather for the Winter Solstice and offer this beautiful day to reconnect with self and others, in this gentle space of rest and renewal. Stillness is a state of deep inner calm; some call it nirvana, others call it a flow where the mind achieves complete peace and presence.Our day will be a celebration of the Still Point - a chance to access the still point that is at our centre, the peace that is our essential nature.
A morning of movement and meditation practice guided by Sara to the beautiful sounds from Suzy, followed by a time for quiet reflection with guided prompts, time sat in circle, shared food, then an afternoon to immerse yourself in the practice of sound and soma, using your body and voice as instruments followed by a deep bathe in the luxury of a sound bath.
With an opportunity to access your playful side in this delicate balance of dark and light. Allow the warmth of movement and the glow of communion to fuel you at the darker times of the year. A returning of the light, the turning of the wheel. Allow this to be a time of ingathering, a time to rest and digest, to nurture the ground and the growth for our coming year.
