Sound Medicine Gong Wash & Solstice Sound Journey The Sound Medicine Collective joins us at Rootdown for a Gong Wash & Sacred Sound Journey Come experience the magic of a wall of 15 gongs washing over you on Saturday, June 20th from 5:30-7:00 p.m.
We will start your journey with the opportunity to stand in our giant Tibetan bowls before you lay down for your sound journey! In honor of the Solstice, we will offer a bright and light sound journey and then of course bring the fire with our Gong Heavy signature Sound Medicine Wash! Experience the Yin and the Yang as the gongs bring the heat- then cooled by the sweetness of crystal and Alchemy bowls, mantra, chimes, Tibetan bowls, hand pan, drums and more. We can’t wait to be with you to celebrate the return of summer!
The Sound Medicine Collective is a partnership, between Adrienne White & Luke Andresen, to hold space through sound for seekers on the path to their own healing. They own the Collective Wellness Center in Benton Harbor, MI. and offer a variety of sound journeys at their studio as well as yoga & music festivals and sacred spaces around the country.
They have witnessed incredible releases from those participating in these sound experiences. The instruments which have been designed intentionally for healing, offer an effective and unique modality to release stuck traumas, emotions and allow the body and mind to relax and restore. Luke and Adrienne foster a spirit of compassion and understanding (they are both trained in trauma informed practices and Luke is a veteran recovered from PTSD) which allow journeyers the chance to tap into areas of the psyche they normally wouldn’t easily go. Science is now catching up and is confirming the profound effect that sound can have on humans. A deep state of relaxation and meditation can be achieved
