About this Event
Join us for our monthly sound journey in the sacred Kiva. Experience the vibration of sound from bells, chimes, didgeridoo, flute, and gong that will assist you in deep meditation and into the present moment.
Many teachers have come forth recently accentuating the importance of present-moment awareness conceptually in our modern times. But what does it really mean and how can one achieve this state? Simply live into it!
Krista Cashin will assist through the art of Healing Touch - a therapy that induces a deep state of calm and relaxation. She will offer light touch of the shoulders, face and neck and may incorporate essential oils.
Please arrive to the Kiva by 6:15pm to ensure that you are settled on your mat before the scheduled start time at 6:30pm. This scheduled event has a rigid start time to create the sanctity of the container and respect each participants’ experience. Late entrance to this event is not admitted.
You are welcome to bring comfortable layered clothing, an extra mat and blanket, or anything else that might make your body more comfortable through the journey.
'Sacred Sound' is found within all world cultures and spiritual traditions. It is the basis of music’s ability to calm, awaken, heal, balance and energize the human spirit. It is a spiritual language (a sound matrix) that is intrinsically understood by all sentient beings and that is experienced universally in therapeutic terms.
A Sound Journey using gongs and other sound healing instruments, is an expression of ‘Sacred Sound’ which is constructed of sound frequencies, harmonics and overtones rooted in Buddhist teachings and practice techniques. It is a powerful vibrational journey which positively affect emotional balance, cellular healing and spiritual awareness. An alchemy of eastern philosophy, bio-energetics and quantum science it is a most powerful healing modality. Within every sound journey, each participant is bathed with rhythms, tonalities and multi-tonal octaves that are naturally revitalizing, stress reducing and profoundly healing physically, mentally and spiritually.
Dr. Zachary Cashin has been practicing chiropractic and holistic healing methodologies for over 30 years. He currently uses Tibetan singing bowls, tuning forks and essential oils in his chiropractic practice to accelerate deeper and more subtle levels of healing integration and transformation.
