In December 2025, Nestor Kornblum and Michele Averard will be back in Belgium to teach the last module of their International Sound Healer Training to their Belgian students.
We'd like to use this opportunity to invite you to you to a unique sound journey, conducted by these true pioneers in the field of sound therapy and sound healing in Europe.
On this special occasion, they will be assisted by Stefan Beckers and Mieke Polfliet (Thuis in Jezelf).
A sound journey is a profound and powerful experience of Healing Sound and Vibration. Through energy work and deep energy management, Nestor and Michele create a safe container, a 'Sacred Space', well-grounded and energetically protected and clean.
Within this space, as you are laying down around the instruments in the centre, you are invited on a healing journey through the application of voice and other acoustic instruments. Mostly these are indigenous or sacred instruments from different cultures, rich in overtones and based on natural tuning where possible: gongs, Tibetan Bowls, drums, shakers, didgeridoo, Native American Flute, ocean drum, monochord, kalimba...
The intention of the sound journey is for you to leave your mental-analytical mind behind, in the safe, energetic space created. You are then free to journey through the experience of yourself as pure vibration and light. It brings you out of active beta brainwave states and induces alpha and theta brainwaves, ideal for meditation and relaxation.
Nestor and Michele have been conducting sound journeys since 1998.

In december 2025 zijn Nestor Kornblum en Michele Averard in België. Ze geven dan de laatste module van hun Internationale Sound Healer Opleiding aan hun Belgische studenten.
Van deze gelegenheid maken we graag gebruik om je uit te nodigen voor een unieke sound journey (klankreis), begeleid door deze ware pioniers op het gebied van klanktherapie en sound healing in Europa.
Ze worden hierbij geassisteerd door Stefan Beckers en Mieke Polfliet van Thuis in Jezelf.
Een sound journey is een diepgaande en pure ervaring van helende klank en vibratie. Nestor en Michele creëren een veilige, goed gegronde energetische ruimte, een 'sacred space' waarbinnen de klankmagie zich kan voltrekken.
Terwijl je comfortabel op een matje ligt rond de instrumenten in het midden, nemen Nestor en Michele je mee op een helende reis. Ze zingen boventonen en bespelen akoestische instrumenten. Dat zijn voornamelijk inheemse, sacrale instrumenten uit verschillende culturen, die rijk zijn aan boventonen: gongs, klankschalen, drums, rainstick, ratels, didgeridoo, Native American fluit, oceandrum, monochord, kalimba,..
Ze bespelen deze instrumenten rond en over de mensen die neerliggen, waardoor je als deelnemer de specifieke trilling van elk instrument aan den lijve kan ervaren.
Tijdens de sound journey kan je, binnen die veilige energetische ruimte, je mentale/analytische brein ontstijgen. Je geest is dan vrij om te reizen (vandaar de naam 'klankreis'). Je wordt als het ware pure trilling en licht. Door de klanken veranderen je hersengolven: bèta-golven (kenmerkend voor een wakkere, actieve toestand) gaan over in alfa- en thèta-golven, ideaal voor diepe ontspanning en meditatie.
Nestor en Michele begeleiden al sinds 1998 sound journeys voor groepen.
