Sound is Medicine™ is a free public program inviting participants into the practice of deep listening as a creative act. Through guided listening, shared sound experiences, and moments of collective reflection, we’ll explore sound as a medium for awareness, transformation, and connection. Drawing from traditions of sonic art and listening practices, the gathering treats sound not just as something we hear, but as something we feel and inhabit.
As Sun Ra reminds us, “Music is a plane of wisdom because music is vibration.”
This program centers listening as an embodied experience—one that can shift perception, soften the nervous system, and open new ways of relating to ourselves and one another. —just bring curiosity, presence, and open ears.
