Sound Flight Poetry to Planet: DisillusionedA TEMPORARY AUTONOMOUS PERFORMANCE
Come play and experiment with your poetic performance in an environment that encourages spontaneity and welcomes all levels of experience!
Bring a poem you would like to workshop theatrically. Books will be available to select something to perform from as well. We will workshop individual performances, experiment with duets, and then open the space to free play.

Q: Is this an open mic? What happens during the workshop?
A: There will be a microphone open for use. No list. Come play and experiment with your poetic performance in an environment that encourages spontaneity and welcomes all levels of experience!

We will spend time workshopping each individual performers piece, experiment with duets, and then open the space to free play.
Q: Is the Starjammer the band playing?
A: Starjammer is the generator for the sound flight, piloted by Squiddius J. Madden. As sound is created, the sonic atmosphere expands, and we take off into the sound flight. Throughout the event, Squidds will pilot the generator for our sound flight to Planet: Disillusioned, elevating our sensory integration. A microphone will be available for use, inviting the community to contribute their poems, stories, sounds, and improvisations to the sonic space. Check out a video of the Starjammer in action here!
